Srinivasan Shanmuganathan (Shan) is Chief Product Officer at DigitalAPI, where he leads product strategy and roadmap for the company’s API management platform, Developer Portal, API, and MCP Gateway. Fortune 500 enterprises use DigitalAPI to unify API discovery, governance, monetization, and AI agent enablement across Apigee, AWS, Azure, Kong, MuleSoft, and other gateway environments.

Based in Zürich, Shan brings 20+ years of enterprise product and technology leadership, with a strong focus on regulated industries. Before DigitalAPI, he held senior product and technology roles at Zurich Insurance, one of the world’s largest insurance groups, and Standard Chartered Bank, a global banking institution. In both organizations, he led API platform, digital, and modernization initiatives at scale across complex, compliance-bound environments.
