For Agents · MCP Gateway is live in production
The Control Plane for AI Agent Execution!
Get one governed path, credential flow, and audit trail per team for agents calling private tools and internal APIs through MCP. The Enterprise MCP Gateway enforces default-deny policy, brokers credentials without exposing secrets, and records every decision. Hybrid or fully self-hosted.

Same APIs, Now Agent-Callable!
Different Teams, Different Use Cases, One Platform!
Platform & Integration Engineering
Make every API behind any gateway (Apigee, Kong, or AWS) agent-callable without a rebuild, so agents reach production in days, not months.
AI & Agent Engineering
Point agents at one endpoint (MCP gateway) and a registry of approved tools, so teams ship agents instead of rebuilding integrations and auth for every project.
Security, Governance & Compliance
Govern every agent-to-tool call with the same auth, scoping, and audit you already trust, so agentic AI clears security review and goes live.
Six Components. One Runtime.
DigitalAPI goes beyond presenting documentation. Every capability is built to drive real consumption, from first discovery to production integration.

Auth Handler
Maps MCP client identity to your existing key system. OAuth 2.1, API keys, mTLS issued from the same store your developers already use.
scopes × agents

RBAC Engine
Fine-grained scoping per agent, per tool and partner. Same policy model as your API portal, agents get exactly what their identity allows.
tool → endpoint

Proxy Router
Translates MCP tool calls into HTTP against your gateway. Preserves headers, propagates trace IDs, respects existing rate limits.
remote MCP servers

Tunnel Handler
Manages connections to remote MCP servers yours or third-party. Encrypted tunnels, connection pooling, automatic reconnect.

Subregistry
Source of truth for every tool, every version, every install. Searchable, queryable, exportable.

Tooling CLI ·MCP server
Translates MCP tool calls into HTTP against your gateway. Preserves headers, propagates trace IDs, respects existing rate limits.
Every OpenAPI Spec Becomes a Tool
Point MCP Gateway at any API. It reads the spec, maps each operation to a Model Context Protocol tool, and preserves the descriptions, schemas and examples, so agents call your APIs correctly the first time.

No code changes. No engineering ticket. Promote any API to MCP-ready in a single click, the spec is the contract.
Live audit
Same Trace ID, Same Audit Pipeline!
Every MCP call goes through the same audit and metering as your HTTP API traffic. Compliance teams see one view, not two. Finance bills one pipeline.

Pairs with · MCP Portal
The Runtime & The Storefront
MCP Gateway is the runtime, it executes tool calls, enforces auth, and emits audit. MCP Portal is the storefront where humans and agents discover those tools, install them, and read schemas.
Tool registry, public-facing: Every tool the gateway runs is browsable in the portal, versioned, searchable, with examples.
One-line install: For humans; standard MCP endpoint for agents.
Same keys, same audit: The keys issued in the Portal are the keys the Gateway authenticates.
APIs and MCP, side by side: Developers see one catalogue; agents see one tool registry.

Frequently asked questions
MCP Gateway, In Detail.
Do I need to migrate off my existing API gateway?
No. MCP Gateway sits beside Apigee, Kong, AWS Gateway or Azure APIM, it doesn't replace them. It calls them on behalf of agents through their existing public interfaces, so existing API traffic, policies and routing stay exactly as-is.
Where does the gateway run?
Self-hosted in your VPC (Helm chart or Docker), in a managed single-tenant region, or fully self-hosted on-prem for regulated environments. Traffic to your APIs never leaves your network, the gateway operates inside your trust boundary.
How is it priced?
MCP Gateway is included in the Growth plan ($8k/month) and Enterprise. Standalone licensing for the gateway alone (without the API Portal) is available. Talk to us.
Which agents/clients does it work with?
Anything that speaks the Model Context Protocol. That includes Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's GPT (via Responses API tool calls), Google's Gemini, Cursor, Continue, and custom-built copilots.
What does an agent see when it connects?
A standard MCP server endpoint with a tool registry. Each tool has a name, description, input schema and example. Agents discover tools, read schemas, and call them as JSON-RPC requests, no Digital API SDK to install.
