Role overview

Innovation Solved is a technology consultancy that concentrates on integration, automation and digital transformation for clients across many industries, with MuleSoft among its main platforms. The integration team is growing, and this senior developer is expected to be a key part of it, taking the lead on how scalable APIs and integrations are architected, designed and built on MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform.

Beyond hands-on delivery, the person is expected to produce reliable, maintainable code, help others do the same, coach junior developers, shape integration best practice and keep projects on schedule. They will work directly with clients to gather requirements and explain technical options. The role is remote and flexible, with pay benchmarked to the South American market.

What you will do

• Design, build and maintain sophisticated integrations on Anypoint Platform that meet performance, security and scalability targets.
• Set a high bar for code quality, documentation, testing and security, and drive practices such as CI/CD pipelines, code review and automated tests.
• Drive technical discussions, shape solution architectures and influence major decisions, acting as a trusted technical adviser to colleagues and clients.
• Coach junior developers and build a team culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
• Own deliverables end to end, from concept through deployment, and spot and clear potential blockers so projects finish on time.
• Work closely with clients and stakeholders to capture requirements, propose solutions and explain technical concepts clearly.
• Keep current with Anypoint Platform capabilities and wider industry trends, and keep refining the firm's integration patterns and frameworks.

What the employer is looking for

• 5+ years of professional software development, with at least five of those focused on MuleSoft integration design and build.
• Demonstrated experience delivering RESTful APIs, SOAP-based services and complex data integrations.
• Good understanding of messaging queues, event-driven design and the application-network model.
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT and MuleSoft security features, plus sound practice around data integrity and compliance.
• Hands-on DevOps experience: CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, plus Git, Maven and similar tooling.
• Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to work with technical and business stakeholders alike.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor less experienced developers.
• Strong ownership, analytical problem-solving and a collaborative, feedback-friendly working style.

Good to have

• MuleSoft certification as a Certified Developer or Certified Integration Architect.
• Working Spanish or Portuguese.
